Leaving reddit made me literally touch grass. Guys I went to the park today!
Too hot today. So the pool it is.
Where’s the part about grass? Do you mean that it made you touch books? 🤨
No, he meant the grass that he's high on.
Must have forgot to write it down
Hah, fair enough. I was using that more as the generic "go do something that's not just reading Reddit posts on a computer all day". But I have also been hiking!
I'm allergic to grass. 😒
I mowed my grass roof recently, so touched grass literally. Time to plant some flowers today.
I see green roofs on commercial buildings around here sometimes but I don't think I've seen one on a private home. Would you recommend it? Does it help keep the house at an even temperature?
I put a thick pond liner on top of corrugated eternite (the asbestos kind) then filled up with hydroculture clay pellets (should have used lava) and put a reasonably thick layer of soil on top of it. Seeded some meadow plants and added irrigation when it's too dry. It insulates in winter, cools down in summer, looks good (yay, flowers) and insects and birds love it. Would definitely recommend, unless your climate is too dry and water is scarce.
For real. I started biking now, its so much fun and i finally look healthy again lol.
Oh, now I just TikTok more lol
No thanks. It just shows good looking people to folk to hook them in. A dopamine datamining trap. No thanks.
Never really got into TikTok myself, always just seemed like a worse version of Vine. But I'm also not the target demographic so there's that.
Even as the target demographic for TikTok, I still hate it. Though I was only 10 when Vine was a thing I still liked it much better, didn't feel as synthetic as it is now.
