Many of the β€œstars” don’t have a clue. They are afraid of it showing

Easy solution - unless you want to actually be there, don't show up to events you have no business being at lol

Most of the time they have to be there because their careers depends on being seeing at those events.

Was curious about that dynamic - does the team hire a celebrity so they can get the team on socials or does the celebrity's PR team look for opportunities?

If the teams are reaching out then I guess you can't blame the celebrity for not wanting to look like an idiot (although my point still stands - don't show up). OTOH if the celebrity is reaching out then they should really do more consideration about what they are getting themselves into

I dunno man, if you're there, play the game, do the dance. All they've really gotta say is "I'm here with TEAM/DRIVER and I'm rooting for them, hoping they have a good race today.".

Delevingne has done a great job of making herself look a right prick in front of (probably) millions by just not doing the bare minimum.

Absolutely - the whole thing makes this celebrity look like they were brought in as window dressing.

Doubling down and blaming the "F1 representative" (as if the FIA shows up on race day wearing Alfa Romeo shirts) came off as insincere and just made me think they believed themselves to be too important for us watching on tv

Cannot see it, twitter has been closed to normal people

Tweet says

🀣🀣 Absolute BRUTALITY from Martin Brundle at #SilverstoneGP

Attached video is Martin Brundle trying to ask question, being denied, then turning away to camera and saying (with deep sarcasm)

oh well, I'm sure it would have been extremely interesting

I can see it just fine? And I don't even have a Twitter account.

Actress, only thing I remember her in recently is Carnival Row which I quite enjoyed. She co-starred with Orlando Bloom in that

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago

Haha, my god, that was great. Martin is the best.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago
