I love getting work-life balance advice from a CEO. No way they would try and exploit me
the_dunk_tank
It's the dunk tank.
This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

This is as good as that “best meals for small children to have at 4PM” list written by wolves that was going around a couple of months ago
so the CEOs' advice is to... listen to podcasts or read a book? wow, I could never think of that, thank you, captains of industry! also:
I use time in the car to make unscheduled calls, which often involves checking in on a colleague or giving them recognition for great work.
option 1: motherfucker, you're commuting, which means it's not office hours, and you're calling me while I'm having breakfast? go fuck yourself, shove your recognition up your entitled ass
option 2: motherfucker, your layabout ass is commuting while I've been in the office for three and a half hours, and you have the audacity to pretend to give a shit? fuck off
option 3: (well, more of a guarantee unless they have a chauffeur) driving dangerously
They've really upgraded the circa 2018 "Feeling overworked and depressed and suicidal? Try mindfulness" articles
How to make the most of your commute: Listen to Marx audiobooks.
I literally do this
I love this type of propaganda. Reason #8347-221 that you can’t complain about capitalism, you didn’t hustle and grind while on your way to work.
Successful people read 500 books a week on their mindfulness commute so maybe you're just not hustling enough to get ahead, ever think of that??
I don't understand billionaires bragging about waking up at 5 to work. Why would you even do that if you had a billion dollars. Anyone who is a billionaire and doesn't sleep in as long as they want is an idiot.
I know they don't but even bragging about it is bizarre
they have to lie to themselves that their wealth is due to their hard work and not just parasitic vampirism
"successful" people simply don't commute, lmao
Mfw going to the office every day to work on a laptop
spend your commuting listening to "Bosses Hang" by GY!BE
I work for trains and ride trains to work. I also get paid to work in the train on the way so I leave earlier from work. Pretty PMC of me, but it is nice to do the bullshit email stuff for an hour at the beginning and end them I'm home 8hrs after leaving
It's not what this ghoulish article mentions, but I got a fairly ok union that made this possible
yeah, i love almost getting obliterated by the 90% of people absentmindedly aiming their Ford Dreadnaught XLT with one hand while the other holds their phone up to their ear. i almost get clipped 1-2x a week by someone like this breaking traffic rules and the only reason i am not dead is that i am head-on-a-swivel walking while decidedly not playing on my phone.
kill your boss
angry birds on phone duh
we may have to start making excuses for the lack of terror
Where I live now its a 4 hr commute (round trip) for min wage jobs since rural areas are suck for employment.
