great game, but what a crazy generation that a closing on decade old game is still so expensive

@echo64 It’s got to be tough though for developers to even begin to make a successor for that game. Racing games are limited in scope as it is, (can’t be open world like botw) and MK8 excels in the cartoonish graphics Mario is known for. So no idea what they’re gonna do without making it feel like Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Plus.
Not to mention, once you factor in the dlc tracks, the track list is absolutely insane. It'd be hard to convince people to move to a new installment

Uhhh kinda want this now.
Check out Diddy Kong Racing on N64.
Grew up playing it =p
Fuck, I loved this game so much! SO MANY HOURS spent driving, hovering and flying around. The races with that damn pig were awesome.
Mario Golf also the same price 29.99 on Amazon.

MK8DX has been a top selling game for years. It's insane how much staying power that title has. It feels like everyone who wants it surely has it by now, and yet it just keeps selling.
Tried with paid SurfShark VPN and US delivery address. No luck.
Is this game worth this price if I don’t pay for the Switch Online subscription?
I don’t have Online and nobody I know would really care about Mario Kart. Is the game still worth it to play solo?
