Can't download images (lemmy.world)

as title says, I can't download any image in the app. When I open one and hit Download in the menu, nothing happens. I checked all my folders and the images are never saved. Anybody else with this problem?

edit: running the MIUI global on a xiaomi note 5

Just tested, went to the gallery app as expected.

If no one else has experienced the problem, you might want to consider providing your OS and app version to help the developer pinpoint the problem, if one exists.

Works perfectly for me, maybe it goes to a hidden folder (folder with .nomedia file in it) or your internet is ass (but so is mine right now i have H (2G+ i think) and it works)

On Xiaomi Mi 11 running MIUI Global 14.0.7 downloads to gallery as expected.
