Kay-bin, obviously.

Originally thought cabin but didn’t stick. Kay-bin 100%.
Same here. But I'd not be surprised if we have Cabin for kbin at some point.
tips fedora "k'bin"
(I say kaybin)
M'k'bin
k'binst'd've
southern accent
Hey y'all, we're headin' down 'er to m'k'bin on the bayou this weeken' if ya wanna tagalong
K'bin sounds more like I'm answering a k'nock at the door but with a cold.
Kay-bin for sure. Never occurred to me to pronounce it the other way
I wouldn't trust my kids around someone that pronounces it k'bin
K'bin sounds like a Klingon name.
I thought in Klingon they pronounced those kind of names like Kay-bin
I don't think Klingon has a K' anywhere, in fact in Klingon it would be written "Q" and followed by some vowel, like in Qapla' or in Qi'yaH
K'Ehleyr
Kahless
That's still likely a mistransliteration (or maybe because those are proper names), but Klingon has only "q" and "Q" (which depending on the capitalization are pronounced differently, treated as different letters), technically there's no "K" in the Klingon alphabet, you can see it in the pIqaD:

Similar as with the "f" from "Worf", there wouldn't be a straight "non-destructive" way to write it in Klingon.

Kay-bin.
Who the fuck says k'bin?
Kay-bin seems like the only correct way. Cabin or K'bin just feels wrong for no particular reason. The name honestly just makes me think of KDE.
Same, k-anything has just been beaten into my brain as "oh a KDE app!"
"Cabin" with a strong emphasis on the first syllable seems hillarious though.
I say kay-bin, because it kind of looks like it should sound like that, imo.
K'bin feels like I'm just trying to make the word as short as possible.
Cabin or Ki-bin both feel like I'm adding new letters just because. To me, it would be like calling reddit "reddita" or "reedit".
Kay-bin. Mostly because when I first saw the name I assumed it was a KDE package.
I pronounce it "kibin"🙃
Non-native speaker here. I get kay-bin, but how are you supposed to say k'bin?
Kuh-bin, with the first syllable short and emphasis on the second.
like "book bin" but without the "boo"
Kibin
same here, i didnt know i was in the minority on this one lol
The K has got to be a silent one. This place is 'bin!
No, the leading forward slash is silent.
I say “Kay-bee”; the n is silent
When I refer to the threadiverse in general (including “I saw a post on on…”) I just say lemmy. I actually really dislike the name “kbin”.
No sense in explaining it tho, cuz if you don’t get it, you won’t get it.
Interesting. For some reason kbin sounds better than lemmy to me, but don't super love either.
Both are still better than “beehaw”
I say "the lemmybins"
In spanish you are likely to default to k'bin (cabin).
Letter K pronunciation varies across the globe, so I think everyone will have variations of it.
I say kay-bin, but for a third option: cabin
What about "quou-been"?
kih-bin
KAY bin ..... right? (RIGHT??
I pronounce it, 'Freedom'.
