Currently on FTTC. GigaClear came recently and ran fibre conduits under all the pavements for FTTP. I know we've had a Fibre multiplex thing at the end of the road since 2022,

I understand GigaClear carried out the work, but as it runs under public pavements etc, is it open for other ISPs? GigaClears reviews are absolutely terrible.

Only heard good things about gigaclear. Not a bad price right now either at 19 quid for 500Mb.

As far as I know though, each fibre provider uses their own line. Openreach don’t use CityFibre lines etc

GigaClear is a rural broadband specialist so it may well be a while until bigger FTTP infrastructure networks like Openreach are rolled out in your area. There's a few smaller ISP's like Squirrel that use the GigaClear network. Perhaps chat with some of your neighbours who have signed up with GigaClear to get their feedback before you commit.
