This one was a high school flashback. Ended up using the quadratic formula to find the root of the curve.

I did the same thing! Took me a few minutes to figure out what do to with the decimal answers, before I realized on the continuous graphs they were the min and max
Ended Up with iterating over all possible solutions and filter all possibilitys which where greater than the record. Not elegant, but sufficient fast for this purpose.
For Part 2 I merged the values by hand in the Input data.
Brute force was good enough I guess?
