Hi there,

I love the Voyager app, but there's one thing that keeps annoying me. Whenever I'm viewing a post and reading comments, when I want to swipe back to the main feed most of the times it causes an involuntary downvote of that comment. It's very hard to find the sweet spot on how to swipe back.

Also 2 minor things that could be improved: please open the inbox right away when navigating to messages. And allow the "communities view" to be opened while swiping back from the main feed, instead of having to press the "communities" at the top or the "posts" button at the bottom.

Ah ha, I found the reason why my posts keep getting downvoted! πŸ˜†

+1 for opening messages straight to unread. I’m almost never going to go there otherwise.

Any way to also attach pics/videos to posts/comments? Or is that a limitation of being a web app.

Yes to this!

The swiping back issue is the only thing keeping me from just using Voyager.

It really is horrible

Version 0.28.0 added swipe gesture options including the ability to disable them: https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/releases/tag/0.28.0

I would like to swipe back anywhere to go back like on Apollo.

How do you enable swipe back?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

On iPhones, that’s the default way to go back on most applications. It’s usually by default

Custom swipe gestures 😭 thank you so much
