I love it. Thought Emporium bothered me a lot when i found them, but now i just can't wait to see what ethically dubious things they try to singlehandedly will into existence
it takes a lot to make something that can think though. we should be careful, for sure, but as long as we make networks within the full extent of our puny understanding, we won't be able to make anything as complicated as an entity that can be wronged.
the issue is, we've already passed the point of making things entirely within our grasp. we've already made things that tell is what we are doing is wrong. we just don't trust them yet.
We've already had organic tissue operated an RC car, if you're looking for a kind of adorable nightmare.
Kind've. He was never using human neurons for the Doom build, those are rat neurons. He is using human cells for some of his other projects, but afaik he's not using human neurons anywhere.
