My company recently switched away from zoom. I wonder if that was part of it.
Oh good. Glad to see they're really invested in this "bust - boom - bust" business model they accidentally succeeded with during covid

Funny how all the people who go out of their way to evangelize AI at every turn are always nowhere to be found when big corporations are using it to invade people's privacy, violate intellectual property rights, and enrich themselves by exploiting their users and/or workers.
This isn't what it sounds like. If you go through to the original article then the AI usage is for generative AI which you can add to your meetings (eg generating subtitles). It's an opt-in service and you're notified on the call if someone enables it. They're not just collecting your call data.
My doctor's office exclusively uses Zoom. I wonder how this will bump up against HIPAA?
