I've been getting back into Cyberpunk 2077 since the major update! I've really enjoyed the overhauled perk/leveling system.

Worth giving it a go if you've been on the fence or haven't touched it in awhile.

I've been using Pop_OS! for most of the year, but recently switched to kUbuntu to try out the latest KDE beta with tiling managers, among other reasons.

I'm thinking of trying out Blend OS for my next hop!

Barony! This game scratches my roguelike itch perfectly.

I am looking forward to Blackout Protocol on the 19th! One of my most played demos during Steam's Next Fest.

Not me, but my wife got all the way to the end of Journey to the Savage Planet before discovering there is a skill tree you can invest in 😂

I've engaged more with posts on Lemmy than all of my years on Reddit due to the deeper sense of community.

It's really cut down the amount of endless doom scrolling I'd do throughout the day as well

Exactly! I am about 50 hours in on my first playthrough and I have no clue what is going on story wise.

I've played a variety of games this past week;

  • American Truck Simulator with friends
  • Borderlands 3 for mindless gunplay
  • Plate up with the wife!

I haven't opened RIF since the blackouts started, and it's been pretty nice actually. It really helped stop my endless doom scrolling.

I believe I'm going to stick with Lemmy for good!

If you're into simulation games I highly recommend American Truck Simulator.

It requires little to no thought. Pick a truck, find a job, and hit the road. Perfect for zoning out to some music or a podcast.

Easily RimWorld for me. The stories that play out over time, and how to make productivity more efficient live in my head rent free.
