Is this even legal for a public broadcaster?

Oh I didn't see this. Glad to see someone already shared it here.

Petition EN6080 is the one that is posted to stopkillinggames.com, Ross Scott (Accursed Farms)'s campaign to end the practice of bricking games people have purchased, whenever the publisher doesn’t want to support it anymore.

It is open for signing by Australian Citizens and Residents, until May 20th 2024.

Please spread the word to your Australian friends and family who take interest in games, and please add your name to it to support this campaign to help preserve games in some form in perpetuity.

Thank you!

Yeah I thought timing was interesting since I haven't been online in about a week when the other thing was posted and came back to this post. Btw it looks like SSSuper and Prime Super are the only ones on the list that seemed to actually be ethical.

Any super fund that claims to be ethical and or sustainable while investing in fossil fuel should be fined and sued.

I have heard some retired people will go on cruise ships because it is cheaper than retirement villages. They would also be more at risk if a outbreak happens though.

If this continues WA will not be a good place to be in the next pandemic.

I like Yerba mate but places that stock it get it imported from overseas where it has to travel thousands of miles to get to the shop. I was wondering how well Yerba mate would grow in Australia.

How many deals has Clive Palmer broke? Does he really want to let the Genie out of the bottle?

I can understand the appeal of growing numbers but I don't think the risks outweigh the rewards. Unlimited growth is unsustainable anyway. We can exist without Meta. Meta is a poison pill that will eventually monopolize the fediverse if it has its way. This will not be the first time they killed off a decentralized platform.

With the cost of living crises combined with the housing shortage I think everyone saw this coming. Some people have full time jobs and live in tents because they cannot get a house. Anyone who is surprised by the baby shortage is most likely rich and never had to experience what the rest of the population goes through.
