In my current 5e game, I have some items that have soft limits on how often you can use them, in that each time you use them you make a con save or gain a level of exhaustion, and the dc increases as you use them more, and the dc resets when you finish a long rest without any exhaustion.

It's not a force though
they're epic level, they can probably handle it.
on the other hand, if they fight Szass Tam or Sul Khatesh...
Since like, the 70s
I'm a relatively new player, but I've been running a flurry ranger with a composite shortbow with rogue archetype. Being able to make 4 attacks in one round with a high enough modifier to be relevant is fun

If you're trying to point out some contradiction, I'm not seeing it
respecting your Christian buddy at work requires that you respect the ideology enough that it isn't any sort of deal breaker. it might not be a lot of respect, but there is at least some respect there, and that's fine. Christianity isn't exactly a good thing, but it's not like the vast majority of Christians support its use for oppression. From what I've seen, most of them are content with going to church every few weeks, and outside of a few edge cases, that doesn't really hurt anyone.
"Dealing with the individuals" was probably a bit too sinister a way of saying it, admittedly, but an ideology will always exist while it has followers, and it will continue to gain followers as long as there is nothing discouraging them. In many cases, education is enough to effectively shrink a harmful ideology over time without too much damage, but fascism is entirely too destructive to allow any respect for the people supporting it, without exception.
the ideologies and the people supporting them are inextricably tied. Respecting the individuals who support an ideology inherently means respecting that ideology, and the ideology won't simply go away without dealing with the individuals who support it.
There's one that lets a player make up to 6 extra attacks when they take the attack action(declaring the number of extra attacks first), but after each attack they make the con save, and the dc starts at 10 and increases by 2 each time. I also had another one that allows for casting of spells up to 6th level without spending spell slots, with a number of saves equal to the level of the spell
