If we had a large user base, I would totally see the value, but right now lemmy is still relatively small. Don't you think new content will be too slow? Especially the rust community with around 300 subs for each one.

I wonder how twitter is even running at this point.
I usually search for good content by 'all' and 'Top daily' and I'm pretty happy with it. There's occasionally a bug which loads a few wrong posts, but nothing too bad for me.
