https://www.securemessagingapps.com/ if you see closely for session , it says that attachments are centralized in their servers in canada

session tries to promote their oxen cryptocurrency and lokinet which imo crypto currency are used by baiters to bait people into ruining their money

you dont understand what signal /molly is , do you ? they are centralized server and OP specificially asked not centralized server / server for that matter

matrix is good but it still need server , plus matrix.org takes quite a bit of metadata

jami's good but it uses turn server to verify your name

briar's bluetooth functionality can be violated plus no good ui/ux

cut my own hair - takes 15-20 min once a month, which is less time than I'd spend getting to and from the barber; it's essentially free ($20-30 for clippers, which I've used for dozens of hair cuts), Where i live they do it under less than a $ ( i am a male)

If you really want to live frugal i suggest piracy is the way to go but maybe your morals don't allow it.

they are technically allowed to .. so they do it . and i mean average iq of this world is 80-90 so i think they just download the 1st thing off playstore which is sponsored which is paid by showing them "ads"

we need more technical knowledge among young people instead of having them become a coomer or waste their life playing games (something that huanted me is this: https://futurism.com/the-byte/gen-z-kids-file-systems)

It's Alright but for me microcontrollers like the one you told me are out of way since i need to run most and foremost docker for things like jellyfin /adgaurd home etc.

I really Dont know I am Ok with running chinese boards and also https://pine64.com/product-category/rockpro64/?v=0446c16e2e66

the boards you are showing me are 80-90$ which to me is maybe a lot since raspberry pi prices have started to slow down as well

Plus some dockers may not work and jellyfin is saying its not recommended to run it on rasp pi so i dont know actually

Thanks for the suggestion (I am looking forward to other comments as well) Well , I like x86 in general but not for self-hosting maybe? i have heard that they are bulky and take a lot of energy

sorry as a teenager its really tough managing your language on an anonymous platform with very less moderations but i like the idea of a swear jar , but i would like to tell you something , i dont recieve any pocket money If i want some thing i can take money of the shelf but then i have to justify why and what i did with it its just good etiquetes and also i wouldnt want to spend my parents hard working money on a game that i could pirate to play just for the nostalgia ( i have played it once pirated) and if i would want to pay the developers i would really want to go through the donation route i have tried to reinstall my whole system , so lets see maybe if that makes it work :)

I do get that point , but I don't want to lie I am preety broke who lives in a third world country I am simply unable to afford such luxury of buying games

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

Yes , I used to do it Earlier but now i get that point after seeing the megathread my last game download from it was cult of the lamb which i then removed entirely infact i removed the entire windows and did a clean reboot and switched to linux because of being paranoid of viruses
