I think that among film buffs that is true. Normies though don’t all like it. My brother hates it just because it’s fantasy. I know others who don’t like it because it’s long.

I’ll have to check that out.

Yeah.. but it took me a while to figure out what that was, and it’s not default. I have to do it every single time.

I would generate content, but I’m not good at memes! I like to comment more than post. Was on Reddit for 15 years and probably had less than a hundred posts.

I get it, but the fediverse is confusing. It’s actually difficult to only see local content, or to know what instance to be on for what content. I think there needs to be some quality of life features to make it clear on how to navigate, and filter etc.

4K isn’t nearly enough resolution to compare to IMAX. Plus, I assume your calculations are for 8bit color. To hang with film. Would need to be 12bit

Not sure. I basically only use the app. Memmy could keep that in it’s DB though. Lot of work though.

Is there a way to see posts I have upvoted? I like upvoting things, then being able to view them later. Is that a feature of memmy at this time?

It depends on what you want. For my family, having space for the kids to hang out and play, inside and out, is a huge plus. Also we like to cook some of our meals while on vacation.

Who cares about impersonation? I barely even look at usernames. It’s the thing I liked about Reddit, and now lemmy. The contrary to things like twitter, the who is way less important than the what.
