Gotta laugh: about to leave to go camping near NSW/VIC border. If we can get through today without being washed away I'll be happy.

I made a snap decision to go see it today. My session starts at 12:30.

As a 49yo who has been comic book reader/collector since i was 16 I want fun, fan service & clear dialogue (I think my hearing is going).

Have fun tomorrow.

Added bonus: my 9yo son is eating it! He can be ultra cautious with anything new. So watching him scoff it down is pretty heartwarming.

I've had my Mum's vegetable soup since I moved out of home permanently at age 22. 28 years ago.

Today I finally made it.

Couldn't fit in the pumpkin and I know I won't get any rice in at the end but it's ok. Added some minced garlic but stuck to the recipe otherwise.

Not exciting but warm and familiar and chunky.

Yes. After the dishes are done and lunch is prepped for tomorrow. Then oodie for me.

This takes me back to my high school years and maintaining my wool jumpers.

Every tip here is spot on.

Police helicopter circling near my kid's school. Distracting..

In unrelated news: I have never clipped a cat's claw before. When we adopted our void cat in February she desperately needed her claws clipped as they had curled under, almost pushing into her paw. We had them clipped at the vet and since then she has been great at using the many scratching posts we have. But I knew that if I could clip her claws it would be an added bonus.

Today, with the assistance of a treat, I did 3 claws! Just small clips and I stopped as it felt like an excellent start. No scratching or biting. One hiss but a bit of the treat helped her. Made sure not to go too low.

Does anyone here have a recommendation a psychologist in the Monash Council area?

GP is happy to give me a referral but needs a name.

I need help with stress, anxiety & depression. Trying to avoid meds if possible. Need to get on top of this.

Thanks for anything & everything.

I have not cooked a roast anything in many, many years. But tonight WE ROAST!

Chicken is the beast of choice! With roast veg, cauliflower & cheese and peas.

I'm a boring, basic cook at best so this could go either way..

Aww! poor girl! I bet the relief you felt when you got her back was intense. Sounds like the rainy weather kept her close.

My girl just bolted. When she jumped the fence my heart dropped. We're close to Scotchmans Creek and the foxes there that have been known to attack cats. She's not much of a climber inside so seeing that just told me how panicked she was. Or determined.

Since she's been back inside she's had some bonus treats and resumed sitting in her favorite spot by the window.

My indoor cat just dashed through the door as I was going out. First time she has done this. I only adopted her almost a month.

Panic!

She jumped my fence which borders a large park. I grabbed a blanket, some food and went into the park, yelling her name but not really hopeful.

My son comes out yelling "Mum! She's at the back door!". He let's her in and she bolts for a bed to hide under.

She can have all the pets and treats tonight. My heart rate is gonna take some time to recover.
