Well you can’t say he shies away from a challenge…

Hold on, is this parody from Sean or someone else? If he posted this I might have to become a fan finally.

Beautiful, champ.

Good matchmaking. See if Almeida really has the chops to handle a top tier heavyweight. I hope it doesn’t just turn into amateur boxing all night as sometimes happens with two grapplers though.

Daukaus landed a few hard rights that had me worried, but Rountree is just so good when he’s “on”. I do feel bad about the Daukaus bro’s recent run though.

Yes, but in French that's pronounced like "Quaah quaah".

Let's break this down. The UFC and Thompson have a contract agreeing to a fight at a certain weight. The UFC tries to change the terms of the contract to get him to accept a higher weight opponent last minute, and when he refuses to agree to the change, they back out of their agreement. Seems like this would be clearly and obviously a breach if pursued in court. Maybe Wonderboy doesn't want to burn bridges by taking that route, but I can't help but think that the UFC would be tougher on chronic weight missers if they still had to pay out in cases like this.

Give Usman literally any tune-up fight he wants EXCEPT this pure, innocent Wonderboy.

Damn. Hope he got decent show money, but it’s the UFC so…

Eh…I like Dustin more than Justin (wow that sounds silly), but I don’t really buy this. A knockout head kick isn’t a “fluke”, it’s not like his opponent slipped on a banana peel and accidentally kicked. Dustin may be more technical in general, but the proof is in the pudding. I think he’s salty about getting beat on the feet, which no one has done in ages.

Same, 29-28 feels like the right score. I’d have a hard time giving Jan round 2.

Tony has nothing more to give, really wish he would retire. I’m sad he hasn’t got the best prospects for post-fighting careers though. I don’t think he’s going to be good at commentary with the amount of CTE he’s got now. He won’t be in high demand as a coach because he’s so whacky with his style rather than being a technician. Feels bad man.
