Technically, but they're only one way.

The ones sold as "heat pumps" can operate both directions-- cool the outside world/heat your home in winter.

Haha I read it as "I was made to hang out" with him, as in "I was made for this, my favorite activity with my new bestie".

Teddy Roosevelt's National Park programs

Imagine the uproar if that was a new idea now. People would hate it as the most "socialist", anti-business, outlandish concept. You just conserve it? And you can't build strip mall parking lots and gas stations all over it?!?

Well it's an interesting argument. I'd say there's got to be a line somewhere and it's somewhat subjective where you put it.

For instance, do bacteria have a right to own themselves, or can we harness them to ferment milk and make yogurt?

Apes or dolphins are pretty clearly too intelligent, most people wouldn't want them on ranches.

Cattle are somewhere in the middle, I think you'll find people's opinions are likewise split down the middle

"land use amount is to scale, location is not"

Still seems kind of clunky, and given all the misunderstanding ITT it might do more harm than good.

I wonder how bad it'll get before we get some kind of prescribed burn policy. Smoky summers suuuuck. Having your house or town burn down in an out of control wildfire sucks even more.
