Central to the development would be the 1850s-built Milton House, which at the time of its construction belonged to prominent experimental farmer Ambrose Eldridge.

“The design of the master plan has focused on restoring the original setting of the dwelling, in terms of the relationship of the house to the slope of the land and reinstating the ability for the house to have a visual connection to the Brisbane River and CBD,” Urbis said.

This is good. It's pretty much hidden away at the moment. I imaging a lot of ppl don't even know it's there currently.

Fuck spez and I won't be going back to r/Brisbane or any other subreddit from now on

So it will either be this community or whatever other one manages some sort of 'critical mass' that will get my participation in chat about Brisbane going forward

I'd suggest expanding the Mt Coot-tha Gardens into the quarry when it's closed. The near cliff-faces around the rim could provide interesting habitats that are usually under-represented in botanic gardens and obviously you can fill in the bottom with a lake.
