paint.net, I use it for a quick meme all the way up to designing posters. Works like a charm and supports plugins

Quest or Quest 2? My Quest 2 has only lost its boundary when I first got it and my room was poorly lit.

Any TestFlight app is accessible to “regular users” too

Safari.

I love the tab bar to the moon and back. Every other browser is just Safari with an asterisk, since Apple makes everybody use WebKit.

I don’t use Chrome on any of my devices, so I’m not worried about missing out on sync. The fewer Google products I use, the better.

Lighting? Also no, repairability isn’t getting worse every year - the iPhone 14 brought much easier to remove back glass

Give wefwef.app a shot. It’s a web app, but works pretty much just like a normal app, and has basically the same interface as Apollo.

It’s a little buggy, but it’s so close to Apollo that I can’t go with anything else

The developer of Sync for Reddit is working on a Lemmy app

Reddit’s official app sucks down battery too. Someone tested it against Apollo. It sucks.
