If Reddit hadn't decided to make it impossible for third party apps to use the API then we'd all still be there. I honestly really miss it. I just cannot support a company that doesn't value people who have supported it (users, mods and developers).
I like the small instance I belong to. It's represented by one or two of those buildings in that picture and that's okay.
I am not in London (US actually) but maybe you would know if there's a Premier League or Football community to subscribe too. The two things I miss from Reddit are Premier League news and a subreddit for a particular game I play.
That's a good looking brain.
I only play Destiny 2 (always online) and Civilization 5 and 6 (only online for multiplayer). If a game is a live game like Destiny or Fortnite then I can understand it but not having an offline mode in a game like Diablo seems really dumb.
I play Destiny 2 but when that frustrates me or is down (happening a lot lately), I play Civilization 5.
I use windows 11 on the main PC. Ease of use for everyone in the household plus easy access to mainstream gaming. I use Linux Mint on my personal laptop. I'm not much of a power user these days so Mint has everything I need for my slightly older laptop.
My family decided to cancel Prime and stop ordering from Amazon after all the union busting they've been doing. I want to try my best to buy from companies that treat their employees fairly. It's really difficult to find reputable companies these days but avoiding Amazon is a no-brainer.
