Man, that one happy moment was great though!

I was the same as a kid, then I got used to sleeping with some light and haven't needed to block out lights since. However, I recently bought a weighted mask and omg I seriously recommend that! I really feel like I sleep a lot better with it on, wake up more rested. Could be placebo of course, but I don't think it is.

I'm both really excited and worried about the part where AI takes over so many jobs that enough people will be without work. I wonder how society will deal with that, will everyone get a proper base "salary" for existing or will there be huge refuge-like camps for the poor jobless people?

I use this so much for work and it makes it so much simpler to share anything from pictures to parts of a OneNote notebook!

Absolutely! I bought Red Dead Redemption 2 on sale, played for a couple of hours and then I just stopped. Was so many things to do and I couldn't decide on what to do first.. 🙄

Is it only a matter of signing up via VPN or is there more to it?

As personally being somewhere between a stoic, rationalist and emotionally-roller-coasterist, I don't think the "rationalists" you describe deserve to be called rationalists. I know the type, they're the one whose always right, because they're unable to see that they could be wrong. Not a big deal, just wanted to point out that rationalists are supposed to consider their emotions as well as logic. I think a better term for them would be pseudorationalists. Similar to pseudoscience vs science.

Anyway. I really like what you're trying to build here. Being nice to one another is such a basic and easy thing to do. Yet it amazes me how many people aren't able to do that on other sites. Not sure how active I'll be here, but I hope I can add something positive.

Someone told me that dfyx is a kind and gentle soul and sticks to the issue. Not sure if true, but many people are saying it.

That makes a lot of sense!
