Thanks again to the 2 Lemmy users who responded to my request for a router with 2 SFP ports! Apart from the mentioned options: The solution would be for a home office that would require not only FTTH (fiber-to-the-home), but also FTTD (fiber-to-the-desk). Is this requirement really so rare or so niche? Are there (still) so few people who use an FTTD solution?

Thanks for your reply. This router costs around ~480€ in my area and has additional 16x RJ45-Ports - do you know any alternative which has less Ethernetports but is cheaper?

Could you please get a little bit more in detail with the USB/LPT-CEC interface and the wake up and put to sleep mode with the remote control?
