They use spoofing. Apparently incorrectly secured stuff can allow it. The security guys at work were talking about this kind of thing the other week. I don't fully understand it myself but this website discusses it. https://abnormalsecurity.com/glossary/dmarc

Jesus people. You gotta get your crazy lawmakers under control.

Kinda how it feels in Australia as well. Older politicians making changes that improve their own lives and seem uninterested in long term planning (examples such as privatising water and electricity and selling the biggest telecom company off too)

It was pretty easy back in the day to disable region locks on drives, I imagine it's still just as easy if they even still bother to lock them.

Gotta let them not see you as a threat. If offered food for a little while they'll not attack you. They're surprisingly good at remembering who's who.

When it's only one or two a month it's manageable, but now everything worth accessing is split over a dozen services. I gave the legal option a go and it became excessively expensive, so back to piracy. Both cheaper and more convenient.

You rate AI way higher than you should. Bits designed to play games have been a thing forever, but they just suck. No matter how fancy they still follow patterns and eventually become predictable.

That's not to say it wouldn't be good to have the option, but it's just not the same.

I generally prefer single player games anyway coz I can't keep up with people who spend all their time online though.

Ah. I see. Thanks for the clarification

From a place of freedom it looks like that, however the issue is more with those who enforce that kind of culture. That part is harder to get free from.

Ah. Yes cultural issues can be a challenge. Sounds like you've got somewhat limited freedom.

Maybe there's some other kind of commitment you can come up with? Or perhaps try to call in to the medical location you were considering to see if you can schedule something for a better time?

Hope you're able to find help

Oh and tell them you've got a medical appointment, they do not need to know what kind, just say you've been on a waiting list for a long time.

My first rule in life, look after yourself. You can't help others properly if you don't care for yourself.

If it's a choice between pissing off my parents because I leave when they want help, and missing medical help in a crowded system? I'd go for upsetting parents, they'll get over it.

Look after yourself, go get help. This is coming from someone (me) who has mental health issues. Your future self will thank you if you start the path of treatment sooner rather than later.

Hope you're feeling well now. Take care!
