Rub a leaf between your fingers. The smell can tell you sometimes which fruit you'll get. Other than that you need to wait to find out.
In terms of citrus I can recommend satsumas, my 2y old tree gave me about 40 fruits this year alone and they taste great.
Moved houses so I started prepping next year's garden by dumping all of the autumn leaves where I want to establish beds. This'll kill the lawn by spring allowing me to plant stuff.

Yes, that's true, but at that age you're financially more stable and have more patience than a 20y. We had our kids at about 30 and I think that's probably the best age for it.

40 isn't too old for kids. Plenty of people have kids at that age and they're doing just fine.
