Setting battle.net client to fully close once launching the game plus changing graphics settings a bit lower made things stable for me again.

Riding a heavy chopper motorcycle in mid-winter on icy roads. That's ~25years ago by now and I still have the scars on my shins.
"Assassin's Creed: Odyssey" plays incredibly well on SteamDeck, looks gorgeous and has (almost) none of the annoyances of other AC titles. It's considered the best AC by many. I use it as a Skyrim replacement because I couldn't be bothered to port & maintaine 1.300 mods + Vortex on the SteamDeck.
The "Crysis" Remastered series also plays very well and is a fantastic shooter if you're into FPS.
Box A only because ain't nobody got time for any "Paradox" BS & daddy's got bills to pay. Trick someone else with all that Time Travel nonsense!
