Yup! The screenshot can be confiding because I tinker a lot with cpu, memory, pcie etc. I made it work with gpu pass through etc. so it was hard for me to capture exact setup in a single screenshot. in fact, games that don’t require proton runs very well like Celeste.

I'm extensively looking to setting up gaming on linux inside a VM on proxmox VE. But nothing i've tried worked.

I'm trying out bunch of games through Steam and its proton compatibility layer. Games I tried:

  • Sekiro
  • Elden Ring
  • Dark Souls 3

I've tried:

  • Manjaro KDE
  • Bazzite

on VM:

I was successfully install Windows 10 inside a VM and run games on there. By following this reddit post

But on any linux VM attempts, games can go 'starting' but back to 'launch' in a few seconds. It just fails...

I just want to know if anybody has ever successfully done this:D

I might be unreasonable here. Yes, bug report cannot be done anonymously because they can’t get back to bug reporters when they actually look into the issue. But do they really have to see my email address? With all the debug logs provided my behavior can be easily guessed even though some parts are obscured. Signal already supports user id feature. They might as well just use that. By utilizing that, they can always get back to me when they need additional info with more privacy.

You are absolutely correct where you said depends on the severity.

Even if I try to contact them for a bug report, the app just open up the email app and I know there’s some email advantage for organizations because of the automation etc. but I expected to contact them directly within signal app. Much more privately.

Thanks. This is something that I will have a look.

I see. Much more complicated algorithms involved. Now I actually stop & disabled reflector and manually picked some local servers. Now I’m seeing 50mb/s and I feel totally dumb lol

I just did and manually picked some near ones. It’s at 50mb/s and I really feel stupid now.

Thanks. really.

I see. I will try. Maybe the ones reflector chose was fast atm but not now. Thanks

That’s a valid answer. But isn’t it the whole purpose of using reflector in the first place?

When I pacman-Syu, it fluctuates between 200kb to 500kb

I checked my internet speed at fast.com and it says 490Mbps

Something isn’t right.

Reflector is doing its job. I checked /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist and saw the last updated time is very recent (today).

I like Gcam mod by BSG. But this popup is a bit annoying. Do anybody here also use modded Gcam? If so do you know how to stop this?

Thanks. I tapped the error message and turned out it was image too large. So not a bug:D

[–] [email protected] 3 points 5 days ago

It was exactly it! Image too large, it says. Fingers crossed Mlem make this process easier in the future🤞

Uploading a photo to any community fails with Error. Anyone getting this issue too?

God bless you:D I learned a lot

First of all, this app is really slick, thank you devs!

My question is basically title. It’s a great option to have but it was not for me. I often downvote comments as I intend to do go back gesture.

Thanks.
