Feeling terrible that it took me so long to notice Melbcat was still sick. When she was fussy about food I thought she was just tired of the usual flavour, and when she was wiggly I thought she was jealous of the computer or bored. She hides it well.

I’ve been wrapped up in my own struggles, getting overwhelmed by literally everything, and didn’t pay attention as closely as usual.

Edit: Yeah… I’m giving these socks one chance to come good in the wash and then if they’re still too tight they’re getting donated. The point of buying new clothes and lip balm was to be more comfortable and if something is not doing that then it’s just clutter.

Too sick and in too much pain to stuff around anymore or tolerate anything that makes me feel worse. Also fuck how I look

Oh melbsy. Don't beat yourself up about it. Cats evolved to hide their pain and injuries as best as they can. It's one of their basic instincts. Cats also have off days just like humans, and some days they just don't want to be held even when they're perfectly fine. You did the best you could given the situation, and that's all you can be expected to do

It's okay about melbcat, like you said they hide it well. Just the way cats are. Try not to beat yourself up, you're taking care of her and getting her help so I think you're doing great for her!

I know what you mean, I have so many clothes I don't wear. So much clutter 😭

I usually spot and sort things sooner… I just thought the last antibiotics were successful.

Yeah I think I need to overhaul everything. I might not get rid of a lot until replacements are sorted but there’s stuff I no longer wear
