The United States is talking to Israeli officials and others about the idea of a safe passage for Gaza civilians after Israel's air strikes following a deadly Hamas attack over the weekend, the U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Tuesday.

"We are focused on this question, there are consultations going on," Sullivan told reporters in a White House press briefing.

Israel has battered Palestinians with deadly air strikes in Gaza after Palestinian Islamist group Hamas' attack on Israel on Saturday that left hundreds dead.

Gaza's Health Ministry said at least 830 Palestinians were killed and up to 4,250 wounded in Israeli air strikes on the blockaded enclave since Saturday. The enclave, only 40km (25 miles) long by 10km (6 miles) wide, is home to 2.3 million people.

A good modified form of this is to let the women and children out, then establish a waiting facility for family reuniting, and seeking men specifically identified by the women and children.

Militants tend not to have spouses or kids to vouch for them, and if they have siblings or mothers to, said women will almost definitely be inclined towards keeping the som'bitches in line.

Last up, just screen all the men that are left and still willing to cooperate with the proceedings, by now just being willing to filter out that way is probably a sign they aren't militants since by that point the actual militants will probably have resolved to try for a last stand somewhere they think can be fortified.

The only real logistical hurdle is keeping everyone trying to cooperate orderly and not stir crazy, and for that the best solution is just bringing in as much food as is needed, maybe set up temporary communal facilities like schools and entertainment within the vouchers' settlement, have a clear destination picked out for any who don't care about going back as long as they can have peace (I hear dearborn is lovely this time of year) and have an ACoE division ready to marshall plan the shit out of any rubble that'll be left behind.

Boom, militants filtered, wannabe escapees relocated, and plenty of space made for who's left to move back into, probably with better infrastructure now too since the ACoE will probably be laying the works down just to get their own shit in and about, let alone everyone else's.

Turn it into a real weh antiok khosrau kinda deal, only not intended as a jab against a byzantine emperor.

A very very rough estimate for how long this would take would be just over two months to finish the "sorting" process, assuming you profess an average of 10k men every day. Which is certainly feasible with enough manpower dedicated to the effort.
