I really really really love this community.
I’m 49 and was only officially diagnosed in December. It’s so relieving knowing that there are others experiencing the same challenges. After all these years I realised and understand that I’m not alone, and that my difficulties are real, and not imagined.
It still doesn’t help with some of my behaviours though.
Today was my youngest’s birthday. So instead of going to bed early to ensure I would be up early for him, I ended up trying to record sing until 3am. Even though I knew I’d be up at 6.30.
He had a great day, so I don’t mind being so tired.
Anyway, all that, is to say thank you to you all.
