That isn't, in my opinion, something to criticize her for.
If we are going to respect people's names and pronouns, that needs to apply to Republicans too, even if you suspect they changed their name for political reasons.
Caitlyn Jenner is an absolute piece of shit who killed someone, but I'm not going to call her Bruce because of it.
Should we not hold republicans to their own standards? Taking the high road doesn't always work.
We should hold ourselves to our own standards.
Well my standards don't allow me to let hypocrites eat their cake and have it too. She wants to be in a party of racists then I'm going to mention her attempt to hide her race.
Then shouldn't you call Caitlyn Jenner 'Bruce?' She's in the party of anti-trans bigots after all.

And let rest of the GOP ostracize her cause no amount of cumgurgling is going to make her 'one of them'.
Sure, there are lots and lots of other things you can say about that horrible person.
It's not her name, it's that she panders to a base who would hate her if she used it. She's a hypocrite.
You could say "it's not her name" about Caitlyn Jenner too.
Why shouldn't people have the right to be called what they want to be called?
Sauce for the goose, my friend. Going high while our opponents go low is why this nation is in the state it is right now. If they chose to wrestle in the muck rather than abide by civilized rules, then I'm more than content to get dirty and fight them there if that serves me best. I see no reason to cede them any advantage out of an outmoded sense of fair play.

Is Caitlyn Jenner refusing to respect other people's pronouns/names or used the issue as a political weapon? As far as I know, her only position is that people should relax about cases of accidentally misgendering people.
Nikki Haley, on the other hand, has made numerous public statements attacking the use of people's chosen pronouns. So yes, I feel fine attacking her on the issue because she has chosen it as a weapon against others.
I agree that we shouldn't misgender people or intentionally call them by the wrong name, but I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing out the hypocrisy of their political stance.
Republicans are actively persecuting people are transgender and foreigners (or people who sound like foreigners), so to point out how they are being hypocritical is not all that out of line imo.
Pointing out the hypocrisy and intentionally calling her by the name she doesn't wish to go by are two different things. Sure, point out why she might have change her name. But respect people's name choices.
