It's literally replacing every single swiped word with the "soft n-word." Every word, including things like "the" and "top".

This is happening to me right now on gboard, most updated version of Android, running on a Pixel 5. This has happened before and y'all gotta take my word for it that I haven't done anything to teach my phone that that's what I want to type.

For some reason my phone keeps typing "furry porn" into google searches. Not sure what exactly is going on.

No, but my predictive text was stuck on constantly suggesting KKKracKKKer for a few weeks. It went away after an Android update.

See, if it were that, I wouldn't be complaining.

100% of the time I type 'big' it suggests 'Boobs' for the next word help

someone played a prank on you by creating text shortcuts. go to the keyboard's settings and check.

Nothing in my keyboard settings, nothing in my personal dictionary. I keep all autocorrect turned off anyway.

Gboard eats my ass, I've typed "Death to America" fukken thousands of times and it still doesn't auto suggest "to" after "death" or "America" after "death to". lame

Death to America

try clearing cache and data on gboard

It's stopped on its own, but I just did that anyway. I saw some reddit and other posts of people having the same problem - fukken strange is what it is.

If you hold down on a suggestion a trash can appears and you can remove it

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago

It wasn't appearing as a suggestion, it was auto-replacing everything I typed. But only when I used the "swipe" input mode.

No... I do keep getting ads for performance enhancing drugs though and it feels like that's in a parallel lane

Yes but only because the ghost of Nick Mullen is haunting my phone ever since I bought BlueChew.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How does that work for you?

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The BlueChew? Great actually. I'm a gay man but I need to pretend to like fucking my wife or else I'll get fired from my rural conservative job. One little pill and I'm hard for hours, just enough to do a quick session with her for business before going over to my boyfriends house.

Wow there's a lot there

decolonize your telephone, disable autosuggest and autocorrect

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

yeah I've experienced this but I think its because I spend so much time in fascist spaces :/ do not recommend

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

i wonder if they sometimes toggle some global autocomplete

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Shit that's awful.

The worst thing my autosuggest does is try to say "Happy birthday" at the start of every conversation and try to call everyone sweetie when I'm trying to say goodbye (I have never called someone sweetie).

Omg!! This happened to me this morning!! I have also never typed it, and I was in the middle of writing a huge emotional message in a Keep note when Gboard wanted to autocorrect "inhibits" with that. I was so gobsmacked that I carried my phone across the house to show my husband, but I didn't think to take a screenshot.

The last time it was trying to force wrong words on me, it was also words I had never used, but iirc it was very random slang kinda stuff, in the vein of "poggers" or "fleek" but not those.

I'm using an up-to-date Moto G Stylus (2023, 4g).
