No, because it only selects the shown ones, so you can only delete like 45 at a time. At least that's how it works on the website, and it's ridiculous.
Then the number shall grow.
Mark as Read in the notification panel. How the hell is that still not an option? I've been asking for this over a decade since quick reply options became a thing (jellybean?). Options are still only Archive or Delete.
I don't even get delete. Just archive running pixel 8
Inside Settings in Gmail you should be able to swap it, but you can only have one of them at a time. Another genius decision.
U wot? No! I want to be able to create and manage labels, not select all FFS.
Just a few more years, like 10....maybe 15, 20 tops.
what about using google contacts directly from the app?
Now you're just being silly, google can't afford Devs to implement all this nonsense us unreasonable people might want, when they could be looking for ways to make more money off of our data
It still lags in productivity compared to a desktop app. For how much time we spend in email, I am surprised Outlook and Thunderbird still feel like they were built 20 years ago. Email clients get no love.
You have not used Thunderbird in a long time I guess. It has changed its UI a lot
I'm excited for the upcoming Thunderbird/K9 Mail release for android.
Fairmail is my K9 replacement.
The major changes I saw are only like 3 months old... And they aren't necessarily good changes. Having said that I still like thunderbird a lot.
The update is 6 months old in release channel, in beta for almost a year and a preview was first seen about 18 months ago
Personally I like it a lot
Hmm, I saw a headline that it was released and then I had installed the update a week later 🤷♂️
Deleting all that garbage was satisfying.
THE SAME SIGNATURE I HAVE ON DESKTOP?
K-9 FTW!
