The former foreign minister (and I think current foreign minister, but not at the time of the incident) publically thanked the United States for blowing up German energy infrastructure that was located in Danish Territorial waters, making it so that Germany could not resume cooperation with regards to energy from Russia, even if both parties decided to put the whole ukraine-war-opposite-sides thing behind them.
Being laughed at for using the holocaust for cheap points is a far kinder reaction than that despicable act deserves. Kid got off light.
