Cool. This would've been better four months ago, but the second best time is now, I guess.

Now stop giving them guns.

Glad Biden is in charge of this and not Trump, doubt there would be any progress under him.

The secretary of state, Antony Blinken, presented the resolution as calling for “an immediate ceasefire tied to the release of hostages”.

So same shit that is already on the table but Gaza does not accept.

Hamas offered release of hostages in return for a total end to hostilities and Israel declined. Don't lay this shit on the resistance; Israel has the power to stop the killing any day they fancied it.

There is no "end to hostilities" as long as Hamas exists. That should be obvious by now - Hamas' demands to any form of peace are a total farce and only the dumbest idiots would fall for that. Want a ceasefire? Release the hostages. Want permanent peace? Disarm the terrorists and come to negotiations.

And do you know why Hamas exist?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

Yes. To genocide all Jews and Christians in the Levant and install a permanent theocratic caliphate. And they believe God has ordained them. They aren't sone logical group of rational thinkers. They blow themselves up in coffee shops full of kids and do mass shootings at concerts because they are insane terrorists. These are not freedom fighters. They don't where uniforms. They don't follow any rules of law. These are pan-Islamists doing the bidding of the further right factions of Iran, and if you go over there to your buds in Gaza, maybe you want to lend a hand, and you start talking any shit about how cool democracy is, they will stone you to death, and that doesn't have anything to do with Israel. That's why they exist.

And it's why there can be no end to hostilities until Hamas is dead to the man. It's really to bad they didn't pack enough food and are hiding under people's houses. Stellar leadership Gaza elected!

Because in 1948 the peoples not yet named Palestinians along with Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon started a war of genocide against the newly created Israel?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 7 months ago (1 children)

And Hamas is never going to agree to terms that require it to stop existing; making that a condition is a non-starter for any negotiation.

Israell doesn't need to negotiate with terrorists. Does your country do that?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Yes they do. Every day. Israel does, the U.S. does and every other government in the World. Also how could you not consider terrorizing hundreds of thousands of people not terrorism? The effects harm millions. Thereby Israel must be considered a terrorist state at this point... Which any country doing deals with would also be negotiating with terrorists.

Terrorism isn't okay just because someone else did something. Hamas has performed acts of terror, Israel is as well.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Ridiculous. Do any multilateral bodies or even unilateral countries consider Israel a terrorist state, or is that view held only by internet edgelords and Iran and maybe one or two of its shithole proxies?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago (1 children)

The only terrorists in this conflict are Israel, who have made it very clear that their goal was never to "defeat hamas" but to defeat the very existence of arab and palestinian people within the gaza strip. To argue anything else is genocide denial.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

Not according to the Western world. They blow themselves up at coffee shops and do mass shootings of kids at concerts. They use entire cities as human shields while they hide. Hamas are terrorists and saying otherwise is literally delusional Fantasyland thinking.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 7 months ago

The projection here is wild. A nuclear armed nation bombing every last school, hospital, and business capable of sustaining human life isn't a terrorist organisation in your eyes, but the Palestinian resistance is.

Your genocide apologism is showing ans history will jot absolve you, pig.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 7 months ago

And it calls for a "sustained" instead of permanent ceasefire.

Israel rejected a Hamas proposal for hostage release in exchange for an agreement that would end the war.
