With the right tools, I'm sure it would also help knowing that an instance could run itself. For example, an instance using a tool to detect suspicious activity and using one of these options instead of something more extreme, like, as you mentioned, defederation.

I don't think you can go too far with the amount of options for administration. These options sound very useful.
I think the bot can be configured to avoid this, but the way they have it configured definitely creates a lot of duplicates. It's in the community map section of the config file.
Multiple bars and a breakdown for each would be fantastic.
Interesting.
Defederation may be the only solution to the problem without changing the source code to allow for better administration tools.
I can't either. "Allow" and "block" has always made more sense to me, though, so I wouldn't mind the change.
The new Downloadables and Server Shop add to Discord’s server subscriptions as ways for creators to monetize their servers. Server subscriptions are getting an improvement, too: the company is adding tier templates to make it easier to decide what subscriptions to offer to your community.
Yes.
This one is a more general store and seems more in line with what some creators already use Discord servers for. Subscriptions for access to content.
I doubt it. Users may already be familiar with these features and would see it a way to make processes more seamless. Server subscriptions would mean you don't have to go through Patreon.
This sounds like a feature that couldn't be implemented properly without users being confused. There are different posting rules for each community. It would be too much to keep up with.
I wish the front page had a better distribution of posts from magazines. I do not want to log in to filter out the meme factories.
