I thought you were talking about deodorant (Im tired ok) and got really confused why people were having individual pods for each use of deodorant.

I don't understand why people want immutable. I don't know all that much about Linux but on my Steamdeck it keeps getting in the way anytime I try to do anything

how do people in the US think Muslim folk make up 22% of the population!? My guess was like 4-5% and I still overshot by a lot.

how would that help? If it's far enough away to nuke them without nuking yourself, the zombies would probably be too far away to bother you.

I stopped using it not because of the results but because you couldn't swipe back without it sending you to the base website.

On DuckDuckGo (and google n others) a search is shown in the URL like looking for frog:
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=frog&t=fpas&ia=web

However in SearXNG it just shows
https://searxng.world/search
Which I don't have an issue with, however when you click on a link and then go back to the search results it would have no idea what you searched for as it's not in the URL and show an error.

That aside, the UI is great. icons don't swap around on you like Google or have annoying popups about 'privacy' like DDG. On the topic of search results, it was good enough for me. Not great but then again there aren't any good search engines right now.

There's a Fallacy called the Fallacy Fallacy which is a Fallacy that's based on the idea that if an argument has a Fallacy the conclusion is false which is a Fallacy, the Fallacy that the Fallacy Fallacy is about.

Allow apps to use any payment processor, not just Google's 30 percent money-printing machine;

This is a big one. Google taxes 30% off all payments on apps from the play store and now they have to lower it to compete or lose customers.

I wanted to get this photo of my cat (sleeping in the window) and a treat i got for her in the same photo, when I took the photo the cat was in frame but when it processed neither were in frame completely ruining my photoshoot :(
Is there a way to,
A: get both in focus (preferred)
or,
B: keep only 1 in focus

Also, is there any way to prevent a photo from processing? When I take a photo of a screen ex. a funny thing on a school laptop, it looks good in the camera app but when it processes it has warping lines and looks really bad. Compression might ruin it but here's an example:

with supply and demand and all... IM DEMANDING CANNED BREAD!! where's the supply 🥺?

It replaces workers with robots so it would probably save money too.

Review on Amazon: A banana for scale should be to scale https://a.co/d/aAZPaX4

Alt text1 star review by user "Tall Guys Wife" on Amazon of a rubber banana that has the words [for scale] on it.
Picture attached shows rubber banana is smaller than real banana.

Review text reads: "purchased this 'banana for scale, but it's way smaller than an average banana. People on social media demand if you're showing something that you use an average banana for scale. I would never deceive anyone with this ridiculous substitute for an accurate measuring tool."

I am a library aid for my highschool, these books were once taken off the shelves and legally banned.

However due to many authors and publishers threatening to sue (and some actually following through), 36 of the 176 books banned have returned.

Hope it continues. And sorry if this breaks the politics rule even if it doesn't show a politician.
