I work with students a lot in the UK, and there has been a real shift in attitudes towards alcohol. Yes, they will still go out drinking, but no where near the extent previous generations have. Part of it will be that the government paid for my and my predecessors education, and even given adjustments for timescale, booze was sooooo much cheaper then than now.

The Sudbury Devil. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you don’t mind weird, independent horror movies.

Apart from them being from Indonesia, not a lot. I’m currently in a rabbit hole of Indonesian alternative and metal and this is one of the bands that popped up in BandCamp.

Watched it once based on the fact I liked the soundtrack and then erased it from my memory.

I dropped down the rabbit hole of Indonesian alternative music with Grrrl Gang’s Honey Baby EP. It’s great to see their fan base building and the attention they are getting.

Yeah, Kathleen and Kurt were very good friends in the early years and spent a lot of time together.

The F’?!?! Okay, that’s new to me and definitely something TotP would do.

One of my really clear teenage memories is listening to Last Splash (the album this appears on) while reading William Gibson’s Mona Lisa Overdrive. The Deal sisters harmonise perfectly and I love Josephine playing that bass line.
