I'm from Australia, that looks like a huntsman.

When I first moved here and saw one I freaked out and begged my husband to catch it. He laughed and said they are good spiders, and very fast so hard to catch anyway.

That spider lived above the window blinds, and I realised I would have to sweep the dead bugs off the windowsill every few days.

He definitely became an honoured guest!

I agree, losing it would feel like losing the library of Alexandria. We do need more doing this!

I have nerve pain and understand the feeling of the meds not taking the pain away, and the knowledge that there is a trade off with taking them. I have refused to up my dose, but try literally everything else.

Unfortunately I am allergic to codiene and natural opoids, and so tramadol is my long term pain management medication.

I also take broad spectrum cbd oil and flower, triple strength fish oil for inflammation, magnesium, etc. I have also been using lignocaine patches over the nerve roots after reading a study that showed promising results, and despite it not making any sense to me that they should work topically, it does seem to help.

Besides medications and supplements, I use a TENS unit, IR heating pad, ice packs, massage gun, and positioning to reduce pain on bad days.

I have tried every locally available treatment, experimental medication, therapy, consulted with pain doctors and surgeons. Unfortunately nothing has helped so far.

On good days, I can spend 4 - 5 hours up at most, and will pay for it the next day. Most of my time is spent in a zero gravity bed.

I don't like taking the pain meds, but acknowledge that taking them means I can do more. Push further. It's not a tradeoff I like either, so most of the time I don't.

I love cheeky cross stitch, this was a free pattern found on the DMC website, then I chose a font I liked for the words. I think it came out great!

Yeeah, I watched the first little bit of it, and it's a rather disjointed collection as well.

Got a guy describing the working conditions in the usa. That seems on point, then a girl ranting about how her guests came over and ate half a fruit (left the other half of the plum uneaten) and drank only one sip of a water bottle, and how wasteful they were and how it got on her nerves. Then makes a show of finishing their "disgusting" half eaten plum and gross sipped on water bottle.

That's not a boring dystopia, it's a lady mad at wasteful guests. I suppose it could be tangentially related to a wasteful society contributing to the dystopia, but her example of guests in her home not finishing every bite of food and drink they were offered is just weird. Also, how are you going to go on a massive rant about wasteful guests while providing them single use water bottles.

Me too! My husband teases me about it. I take it and get sleepy. Zzzz

A similar sort of fridge was very common in Australia, you can still find then in antique shops very easily.

They use a tray of water and hessian fabric to cool the inside.

The clay fridge looks interesting!

This is very beautiful, and very sad.

Using Firefox on Win10 pc, the usual add ons. Errors when upvoting, when accessing posts from inbox, when expanding comment trees.

Errors repeatable until page loads either by refreshing or pressing back. Once the page has loaded without an error everything seems to work fine, up and down votes, expanding comment trees, etc all work even after navigating away from post and returning.

Happy to provide any other information that helps diagnose things.

Thank you. I really like wefwef!

Why YSK: It makes viewing images fast and easy, with no clicks.

I got used to this on the site that shall not be named, sometimes I don't want to open the whole image or post. With the addon if I hover over the image button that would expand the image, it will show the image full size for as long as I hover over it, no clicking needed, this works with gifs as well.
