I’m sure it has nothing to do with Bentleys getting uglier while other luxury cars are getting cooler looking.

OLGA rocked. I’d forgotten all about it.

This. Especially in modern first-world nations. There are plenty of resources for the wealthy to still be wealthy and everyone to have at least economic security.

Again, taxation is but one of many levers pulled in the working of government which have substantial implications on billionaires. Whether and where to impose tariffs or regulation, for example, are decisions which wealthy business owners are very concerned.

Trump winning will be a major blow to everyone in this country. Ironically, the hammer will strike hardest on those who most vehemently support him.

Just because Trump risks being the worst thing to happen to democracy in the history of humanity, we cannot excuse genocide.

The funding of the genocide and blocking of UN attempts to address it are real. Trump’s demolition of democracy is, as of now, merely a risk.

I agree with you in spirit. The most common sentiment I see among the comments is not to limit what people can share but how actively platforms move people down rabbit holes. If there is not action on the part of the platforms to correct for this, they risk regulation which in turn puts freedom of speech at risk.
