My wife was so mad at me when I explained this to her. She said the chlorine smell would give her nostalgia and I ruined it.

I remember getting high and watching the film, not the documentary, about him. I was initially rooting for him, but halfway through I was getting angry. I just kept thinking "WTF is wrong with you? You need help at every turn and then just keep turning everyone away." I finished the movie and figured he was depressed and suicidal, but I still didn't like him as a character.

I know this is a serious topic but I stared at "UNSC" for way too long thinking "It's not United Nations Space Command from Halo... so what is it?"

United Nations Security Council, got it

What do you mean the future? It's happening now. One party has ran on "the EPA is trying to ban cars."

When I was hired on for my current job my boss explained that they don't require any proof to use our "medical time." While vacation time should be put in with a bit of notice, medical time was ours to use whenever. Literally said, if you wake up after a stressful few days and just want to enjoy some fresh air, just put it on the shared calendar that you're using some medical time. It can be as little as 1hr, it doesn't matter.

(Small company in the US btw)

Late to the party here. Love many of the podcasts already shared, but I'd like to reccomend a couple.

The Weekly Planet: if you're somewhat interested in keeping up with movies. Two aussie blokes, James and Maseau, have great banter keeping up with the entertainment industry. They originally kept up with comic book movies and adjacent content, but they do all kinds of movies. Doesn't take itself seriously, but never devolves into repeating every click bait headline you read. Been keeping up for 8 years now.

Filthy Casuals: three aussie comedians, Tommy Dassalo, Ben Vernel, and Adam Knox, keep up with the video game industry. Similar to my last recommendation, but if you're interested in video games.

National Park After Dark: hosted by two lovely ladies, Danielle and Cassie, and covers many different topics. Topics covered have included true crime, cryptids, and folklore but the two hosts try to keep a focus on outdoor experiences. They want to encourage people to get out and visit the many parks across the US, but to do so safely and respectfully.

That's how they controlled the sub. You can buy one if you want.

Same. I was enjoying RiF enough to pay for the ad free app. Should have known that wasn't going to last.

Absolutely. It goes without saying that women's bc pills come with a myriad of side effects. They often have to try different options to find what works for them. I'd personally enter the market as soon as its available, but I'd prefer for several options to be approved so we can pivot if one particular pill doesn't agree with you. Until then, a good old fashioned condom is my best friend.

Vegans can eat their own boogers. Their whole disposition is on the basis of ethical consumption and consent. A cow can't consent to being milked. We've bred them and in a vegans eye's, exploited them for so long that, that's just the status quo. Similarly bees collect honey to feed themselves. They don't understand we take what we deem is a surplus to them. So they never consented to share with us.

If you pick your own boogers, you consented to do so. That means it's ethical to eat.
