Bro, I don't get why you're being down voted when asking for clarification on content and therefore contributing to the conversation. I've slightly tipped those scales as this is a critically important scandal leading up to the election

For those interested, this is a serial number assigned by museums called an "accession number". They indicate when the artefact joined the collection and how many pieces it's connected to in order to guide researchers to the relevant paperwork.

The ink, as a standard, is completely removable.

There were shelters throughout the city, but many chose not to go or marry have been in the wrong part of town. This way, police could forcibly take you away from the dangerous cold even against your wishes.

It was a problem with a particular homeless family that lived under a bridge, they fought to stay in their camp and it created a big discussion surrounding the issue

In the city where I grew up in Canada, it was illegal to sleep on the streets. The punishment was a single night in a holding cell with no record.

This way, on cold nights, police would forcibly give people a warm meal and a place to sleep - there was a real danger of those folks freezing. The system worked most of the time, but if course, it really inconvenienced the purple who just want to be left alone.

I'm a museum curator based in Europe (very different from the Americas). It's a wonderful job of travel, being close to history and bringing some goodness into the world, if you don't mind the salary of working for a charity.

I'm in the museum sector.

Never pick something up to move it until you've seen the place where you're moving the thing and it's clear of junk.

It's safer to make two trips instead of one. It's safer to make three trips instead of two.

The best thing you can do for something old that looks like it's slowly falling apart is usually to leave it alone.

Jew here, and travelled through SE Asia. Israelis have always had a terrible reputation in parts of India and Thailand because after completing military service of 2-3 years, these kids get a lump sum before heading off to careers or university. They spend that money on booze and drugs and get off their faces before heading home to start their lives properly, and this is true of the Israeli Arab kids who serve too, as they are also no longer under the watchful eye of their parents or the military.

It's not uncommon for youth hostels in Thailand not to allow Israelis in groups to stay there, with signage saying so. Always "Israelis", never "jews". I saw a lot of this backpacking maybe 8 years ago.

Do you remember during the 2008 campaign when there was criticism over Obama's pastor being too outspoken in his church? In back to back segments fox would reflect on Obama's dangerous version of Christianity while also saying he was a Muslim...

Don't worry, it gets worse! Certain farmed animals are particularly susceptible to infections like shrimp and oysters. These animals are kept in open water pens and antibiotics are routinely DUMPED INTO THE OCEAN to protect the stock, naturally contaminating the ocean at large and giving bacteria in the wild just enough exposure to antibiotics to develop resistance.

If you want to support responsible antibiotic use, avoid all farmed shellfish, don't buy any meats from India or China, and only buy free range chicken; these are the biggest global offenders. If you're European, avoid meats from Greece or italy.

This may be apocryphal, but gene had originally planned for the bridge and subsequent space battles to reflect those of submarines - playing out entirely within closed rooms and getting feedback from sensors. This didn't sit well with producers, who wanted windows and for kirk to look out directly at an enemy, hence the viewscreen and placement on top of the saucer section.
